A Curated Being *
The idea of a curated existence revolves around the deliberate selection of moments, images, and experiences that together form a meaningful whole. This principle lies at the heart of this series of small paintings, where each work is a carefully chosen fragment and the boundary between documentation and lived experience begins to blur. Just as an exhibition curator decides what is shown and how works relate to one another, we make choices in our daily lives about what to emphasize and what to leave out. This is not merely an aesthetic exercise, but a fundamental way in which we shape our identity and our perception of the world. Attention shifts from the original experience to the way it is recorded and arranged, raising the question of whether we are ever truly present in the moment. The focus is less and less on preserving memories and more on editing and curating the self that is shown to the outside world. The works in this series reveal not only what once was, but more importantly what was chosen to remain, reflecting on the human tendency not simply to undergo reality, but to actively compose it and give it meaning.
Each work is painted on a 12 by 15 centimeter board (4,7” by 5,9”)
